Hot Oil Hair Treatment & Massage at Joie Salon & Spa | Salon Review

Long overdue review about the services at Joie Salon & Spa. PBS (Pakistan Beauty Society)had a mini spa day at Joie Salon, to experience their service and mainly to try the in-house fragrance oils and scrubs. They make oils (each for a different purpose) and scrubs (each for a different purpose) which they incorporate in their spa services. We were offered Hot Oil massage/treatment and Manicure/Pedicure. In this review I will only talk about Hot Oil massage/treatment, because it will be long.

Honestly, I thought the Hot Oil treatment will just be a head massage followed by hair wash & blow dry, but there was more to it. I was taken to a massage room, which had dimmed light,  soft & relaxing music. The girl asked me which oil I will opt for and along with it she told me the benefits of it. I opted for Lavender oil. Before starting the massage she turned off the lights & only scented burner was on. She started with a head massage with a hot oil. The only thing she asked during the process was about the pressure. Head massage was followed by shoulder & a full back massage. The entire process was about 45-50 minutes and I must say, it was the most relaxing time of that day. She worked on all the stressed knots.
After Hot Oil head massage, my hair was kept in a machine for micro misting. Micro Misting is the process of 6 minutes where hair is given hot steam to open up the cuticles letting the product go in, followed by cold steam to lock everything. After micro misting, my hair was washed & blow dried. Joie makes sure you feel relaxed at every step. How? Even the hair wash chair had massager & I have to say, it was the most comfortable hair wash chair. Being a shorty, at any other place I really struggle with hair wash & sink being hard on the neck, while here it was super easy & comfortable. This process not only made my hair soft, but shiny and frizz free too which mainly I was looking for. Also, I noticed less hair fall. It's been a week, and I can still see the shine and feel the softness.

Since the dry weather has started, my scalp gets oily in a day as well I get dandruff too. BUT, after this treatment, I noticed none of the both for good 2/3 days (I had to check).

In all, it was AMAZING service and I enjoyed the entire process. Definitely going back again.

I'd rate Hot Oil massage/Hair treatment 10/10

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
