BIO-OIL and its effective uses | Skin Care

Bio Oil is a is a specialist skincare product formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Its unique formulation, which contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil™ is also highly effective for ageing and dehydrated skin.

Let's see how effective this oil is.

Before we start with how effective Bio-Oil is, let's talk about PurCellin OilWhat is PurCellin Oil? It is also called cetearyl octanoate, and it is an ingredient in Bio-Oil that changes the consistency to make it less greasy. PurCellin Oil is made from more than one ingredient, and is used primarily to reduce stretch marks, scars and uneven skin tone.

Five major effective uses Bio-Oil
- Improves the appearance of Scars
- Treat and prevent stretch marks
- Anti-Aging
- To nourish the dehydrated skin
- Helps with appearance of uneven skin tone

Is Bio-Oil suitable for face?
Yes!! Bio-Oil is definitely suitable on the face, it is a great anti-ageing skincare product, due to the Vitamin A in the product. Bio-Oil is tested and proven to be non-comedogenic, which means that it does not cause acne or spots. Bio-Oil is an extremely effective moisturizer for dry skin. It's unique formulation of mineral oils, vitamins and plant extracts provide calming and hydrating benefits to the skin. Calendula oil has cell regenerative effects and can be used to treat dry, sensitive skin.

How long does it take for scars and stretch marks to fade away?
It is recommended to use Bio-oil twice a day for at least 3 months minimum for acne scars and uneven skin tone to get back to normal. Whereas, for stretch marks, it is recommended to use for at least 6 months. These marks fade gradually to become less visible within 6 to 12 months, but the texture of these scars will remain constant, similar to initial stages. It's always better to prevent stretch marks from appearing in first place than worrying later. Hence, start using Bio-Oil on the common areas of the stretch marks from the start of second trimester.

BioOil is safe to use on a scar once the skin's surface is fully healed. It should not be applied to broken skin.

I'm still using and trying to be regular with my routine. I will update about it once I hit 6 months of using this oil religiously.

Have you ever used Bio-Oil? How did it help you?

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
I am in love with this palette. It has all you need. I was looking for so many colours which I found in it. I am really excited to have this palette, and it is my first ever BIG palette. Colours like carbon black, warm browns, pinks, greens are the ones I love the mos…
