Mr.Burberry | Launch & Meetup

“Mr. Burberry is our most significant men’s fragrance to date. Inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat and by London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions. It is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own.” -CHRISTOPHER BAILEY, CHIEF CREATIVE AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, BURBERRY.

Inspired by Burberry’s iconic black trench coat and by London.
The Mr. Burberry fragrance captures the essence of London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions – traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. The Mr. Burberry bottle is inspired by the black trench coat and its signature design details. Together, the fragrance and the bottle combine to encapsulate Mr. Burberry: the man and the world he lives in.
Mr. Burberry was created by Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, working in collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Mr.Burberry, a scent for men comes in a gray, black masculine bottle with a black bow like a bow-tie, tied around the neck of the cap. Nothing too fancy, nor too boring. Perfect enough to speak for itself, that it is men perfume. The box feels luxurious & to give it more manly feel, it's all black.

9th April, 2016 - Mr. Burberry was launched at Scentsation, Karachi at an exclusive event for Bloggers to introduce the new scent. Bloggers meetup/launch started in the main arena of Dolmen Mall, Clifton where the perfume bottle was introduced and we were briefed about the scent & the idea behind it. Mantaha Maqsood, spokesperson shared with us her views about the perfume and how she thinks the scent reminds her of cold cozy weather of London. She also added that she personally loves the scent & would love to wear it, since it's not pure manly but very warm.
The event then followed by a scavenger hunt and a hi-tea for bloggers, where Mohsin Feroze shed some light on the perfume, Scentsation & his views.

Talking about the perfume, it reminds me of cigars. The warm, cozy winter's eve, when you burn a teak wood scented candle to get that feel of winter & the dry leaves for the warmth with an ending note of fresh citrus - is how I would define the scent of Mr.Burberry. To be honest, I personally love the scent of this perfume too.

“Contemporary yet classically British in its structure, Mr. Burberry radiates modern and masculine sensuality.” -FRANCIS KURKDJIAN, PERFUMER

Sensual and elegant with a striking brightness, Mr. Burberry sets the tone with uplifting grapefruit. Establishing a halo of masculinity that permeates through the fragrance, the introduction of cardamom contributes complexity and sophistication with its spicy facet.

A broad and robust heart centres Mr. Burberry, its classic fougère structure uniquely remastered into a thoroughly contemporary creation. An accord of birch leaf warms the core while cedar wood provides power and balance to the livelier top notes.

A sensual herbal woody eau de toilette, Mr. Burberry fuses classic scents of British perfumery with unexpected ingredients. Contemporary, sophisticated and sensual, the fragrance opens with notes of crisp zesty grapefruit, cut with a seductive base of earthy vetiver and smokey guaiac wood.

What kind of scents do you prefer? Did you try this one out at any of the Scentsation's outlets?

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.
