Sexy Hair - Soy Renewal Beach Spray [Review]

Having naturally curly hair is sometimes hard to manage. Especially in summers, when I cannot straighten them. That's the time when I look for a product that can keep my hair in the same texture and manage. I don't like to use hair mousse a lot, because it makes your hair stiff and crunchy.  I was looking for sea salt spray, something that can give texture and natural bounce to my hair.

Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray
Combines texturizing properties with the protecting and healing powers of Argan oil. Get that sexy windblown beachy look without the damaging effects.
Creates undone texture that looks and feels like you've spent a day by the sea. Helps nourish, protect and heal hair damage with the power of Argan oil. Cures winter blues by giving your hair the look and feel of a day at the beach.
Algae extracts keep the moisture in providing texture without dryness. Magnesium sulfate and sea salt give texture and lots of body, fullness and hold. Argan oil protects and heals against environmental damage.

My experience
Soy Renewal Beach Spray is a salon professional brand that comes in a sleek 150ml spray bottle. It has a lock system under the spritzer, which makes it travel friendly. The bottle has enough product that can be used for 4 to 6 months if used on special occasions. If used frequently, it might last a month or so.

Soy Renewal Beach Spray is a sea salt spray for an effortless natural looking beachy hair, with extra nourishing ingredients like Argan Oil. It sure is a beach spray which reminds you of the beach once it is sprayed. It feels like you have come from the beach with all the salt in the hair, with beach air that dries the hair out. It is a life saver for the days when you are in a rush and have no time to do the hair, or for days when your hair is not being friendly with you. It can be used on damp hair as well as on the dry hair. I prefer both the ways. I like to use on damp hair, for more defined curls and beachy waves. But, when I want slight beachy texture and volume, I use it on dry hair.

What I didn't like about the spray is the feel of it once the hair dries. It feels like there is a lot of sand/salt in your hair, which makes the hair dry and gritty, not crunchy like hair mousse.  I noticed a slight white residue once hair starts to dry after spraying. I noticed both the times - when sprayed on damp or dry hair. Sometimes it is noticeable, and sometimes not. Maybe, if you use A LOT that's when you see the white residue.

The spray has a very crisp and fresh sweet and salty soy scent, that reminds me of a salon. The scent is not overpowering, however you will smell the scent while spraying and as well as when it is in your hair.

Sexy Hair - Soy Renewal Beach Spray Result
As you can see before and after of my hair, and how the spray gives texture. I used the Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray to do my hair for the Maybelline Bloggers Event, you can see the pictures and how my hair looks in that post. On days when I want a texture plus a volumized messy bun, what I do is, I spray it on the roots and on the ends of my hair and slightly in the middle, scrunch it and let it dry naturally. With the help of my fingers I tie the bun, and in a few minutes you get effortless messy textured bun. If you have sleek straight hair, you can use a diffuser for beachy waves. For me, I don't need it.

It claims that it protects, repairs and protects from UV rays. It also claims that it nourishes and strengthens. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks, and I didn't notice it strengthening my hair, but I didn't notice any breakage or any damage to my hair. It also claims to have Argan Oil, which is rich in Vitamin E and contains Omega 3 and omega 9 fatty acids that provides nutrition to the hair. Not only that, Argan Oil also contains Linoleic and oleic acids that helps to hydrate and moisturize hair, repairs damage hair follicles and manage the unmanageable, dry, rough and frizzy hair. Argan Oil also acts as a shield from harmful UV rays and environmental pollution. That's the reason it claims about strengthening, protecting from UV rays and repairing. You get a spray that not only gives texture and volume, but also has good nourishing ingredients.

Things I like:
Travel Friendly
Effortless natural Beachy hair in no time
Has Argan Oil
Gives texture to the hair
Gives volume to the roots
Has Salon scent

Things I don't like:
Leaves white residue, if sprayed too much
Salty feel in the hair
Makes hair dry and gritty

All in all, I don't like how my hair feels after, nevertheless, I still like it for the fact that it gives texture and volume to my unmanageable hair in summers with just a few sprays.

It comes with a price tag of PKR 800 and is available at the following Salons: Rain Tree Spa, Annie's Signature Salon, Huma & Zara and Alle'Nora. If salons are not within your reach, you can ask your respected salons to stock.

What do you use to give volume and texture to your hair?

I would Rate it: 4/5

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
