It is always fun attending Bloggers events/meet ups, and meeting gorgeous bloggers; the faces behind amazing blogs with whom we only interact via comments. Also, the faces behind those emails that we get from PR companies.

Recently, we were invited to Maybelline Color Show Bloggers Event/Meet up. For more pictures and event update, read more!

Beauty Bloggers at Maybelline Color Show Bloggers Event

L to R - Nida, Sidrah, Naimal, Me and Maliha
Maybelline Color Show polishes - aren't they yum?
Nail art we created for ourselves.
Monday, 8th July 2013:
Maybelline New York-Pakistan hosted a fun-filled nail art event for Bloggers.
The event was from 3 pm to 5pm, but due to crazy traffic that day, me and Sidrah of Beauteous Blog reached late. As I walked into the office of LOPAK, I was fascinated by all the interior and how fun the office looked like. Who wouldn't like to go to such welcoming work places?

Hina Saleem and Wafa Kalia, welcomed us warmly and introduced them to us - knew both of them by names but it was the first time meeting them face to face. Then met all the lovely bloggers. It was my first time meeting the two bloggers, the fun loving Maliha Rao from The Curious Red Alice and the cute, sweet and TALL Naimal Hammad, from Peachy Pout. Also we had Nida Moughal from Glitter Smitter, whom I met earlier once and the sweet Sidrah Nayyer of Beauteous Blog whom everyone knows. We also had an amazing nail artist from Mirrors Salon and Spa.

We were seated in a conference room, with the table filled with different collections of the Maybelline Color Show polishes. Loved the idea how they were arranged with things that highlighted the collection name.

The event started with video clips/ad commercial of Color show and ramp nail art, followed by DIY on how to create that nail art. Later, the nail artist who was with us showed us how to create a nail art. The nail art was done with a fine stick, it was SO good and intricate, our eyes were actually popping out how it was done.

The real fun and old school time began when we had to create a nail art that was shown to us on the screen, the nail art done on models at the Mercedez Benz Ramp Show. Recreating the same nail art was SO much fun. It seemed like children in the art class with lots of paints to play with. Playing with Maybelline Color Show polishes were fun. I am not a huge fan of pricey polishes, unless they have good quality. I found Maybelline Color Show really nice, review + manicure post coming soon! I must say, the color range is amazing. From pastels to bright neons. Out of all the polishes I tried at the event, my favorite were Electric Yellow, Pink Shock, Orange Attack and Urban Turquoise

The event ended with a high tea, lots of chat, pictures and a goodie bag. The best part of the goodie bag, that I will cherish always is the Color Show nail kit pouch with our names embossed on it. Along with it, I received the Color Show polish in Fuchsia Fever.

Goodie ag we received.
All in all it was a fun-filled event, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Looking forward to such events in the future, and to meet the new and old lovely bloggers too. For more pictures of the event, check Maybelline New York - Pakistan Facebook page.

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.
