Color Studio Professional - Matt Foundation HD Stick "ASIA" [Review+Swatch]

When it comes to foundation, I prefer liquid foundation more because of the easy application. To me, stick foundation are pretty hard to work with plus I feel they give you cakey finish - which I don't like. I've tried few foundation sticks, didn't like - do I like this one?

Color Studio Professional HD Stick - Asia
Color Studio Professional HD Stick:
Extremely easy to apply, characterized by a dry touch and a matt finish. Its high coverage assures a perfect minimization of the skin imperfections and its soft formulation takes care of the skin assuring a decongestant and anti - oxidant action. Particular active principles like chestnut extract and vitamin E works together to protect the skin.

Color Studio Professional HD Stick Foundation "Asia" -Application

My experience:
To begin with the texture, Color Studio Professional HD Stick foundation is soft and creamy, unlike Krylon Tv paint stick, which is kind of dry. It glides on smoothly, and blends in effortlessly. I tried Sigma F80 brush to blend it, but the best way I could find was my fingers; warmth of fingers makes the blending easier - especially a stick foundation. It has sheer to nearly full coverage, depending on how much you use; DON'T over do! Just like you dot liquid foundation, apply the stick foundation directly on the skin, keeping some distance and use your fingers or sponge to blend it (whatever is easier for you). If you want a little dewy finish, you can dot baby lotion or illuminator, and then blend it. The foundation has this weird smell, which I noticed in all stick foundation - not overpowering though. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and doesn't clog your pores. I like the fact how it makes my skin look smooth after the application, without making it look cakey. It does minimize the imperfections, but in my opinion you definitely need a concealer to hide some spots and dark circles, especially if you have VERY dark ones like mine.

The shade I received is 'Asia' - a shade perfect for skin tones with warm undertones, like medium to wheat-ish skin tones. I noticed it has a mixture of yellow and more of a peach undertones.. I picked the wrong shade for myself, it makes me look tan because of the peachy undertone. As you can see in the picture above. Nonetheless, I like it because of the texture and I use when I want to give myself a tan look. It also helps to tone down the foundations that makes me look white at times. I am between NC 25 and NC 30 in MAC foundation. For girls of my skin tone, 'Beige' will be the perfect match.

Moving on to the staying power it stays put for good 4 to 5 hours, without creasing, cracking or fading - the key is BLENDING! In the picture above, I have applied the foundation only. Also you may notice how peachish-yellow the swatch is. Speaking of skin types, it is creamy enough to look good on dry to normal skin types, also on combination to oily, as I myself have combination to oily skin, and it looked great on my skin, but do dust powder on top to keep the skin matte.

All in all, I like how creamy this foundation is and how well it blends into the skin. OVER DO of anything can mess up the whole look. And, always remember key to flawless foundation is BLENDING!

Glamourous Face 48+48 Eye shadow Palette [Review]

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
I am in love with this palette. It has all you need. I was looking for so many colours which I found in it. I am really excited to have this palette, and it is my first ever BIG palette. Colours like carbon black, warm browns, pinks, greens are the ones I love the mos…

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
