My experience:
The name Invincible, with waterproof words included attracts all the ladies with oily skin. To start off with the packaging, it comes in the shiny black casing with mirror inside - just like Color Studio Matt Perfection Foundation. The difference is, it doesn't have two compartments. It comes with a soft and fluffy powder puff. The casing is sturdy and travel friendly.

Moving on to the product, Invincible powder is a sheer pressed powder. The shade I am using is 'Silk Beige', which has a mixture of yellow and pink undertones; more of yellow but not too yellow. It is a shade perfect for fair to medium skin tone. As it is a sheer powder, it doesn't give any coverage. You HAVE to use some foundation/BB cream/concealer underneath it if you want to add color to your skin or to hide any discoloration. I use it over sheer or full coverage foundation. For day time and for a more natural finish I use it over the concealer and BB cream. For starters, who want a little product just to keep face matte, this is a perfect compact powder.

The texture of the powder is silky soft, which makes blending easier and gives natural finish. It blends effortlessly into your skin, without making your skin look cakey or powdery; unless you use it over a matte foundation or apply too much of the powder. It is airy, and doesn't clog your pores. Remember, anything can make you look patchy and flaky if you don't moisturize your skin properly.

The good thing is, it has no scent unlike the Matt Foundation. The powder puff that comes with it, is soft and of good quality. However, since I discovered Kabuki brushes, I have stopped using puffs/sponge that comes along with pressed powders. I feel with the sponge, you always use extra. As for the Kabuki brush, it picks up the right amount and dust off extra product - helps you NOT to look cakey and powdery. The area on my nose and chin are oily, but extra powder can make them look dry and patchy.

Does Invincible powder do what it claims? Well, I wouldn't agree to it being perfect for physical activity. I would agree with it being waterproof and water repellant, that too to some extent. It does keep your face matte for good 4 to 5 hours, but if it's too hot you will notice oils/sweat on your face after 2 hours.

All in all, I like it for the fact it keeps my face oil-free for up to 5 hours. I would've liked it gave a little coverage. It's a good everyday powder, if you notice extra oils, use blotting sheets and you can always re-touch it. It's my everyday go-to powder for the day time.

  • Keeps your face matte for 4-6 hours.
  • Doesn't make your face look cakey.
  • Soft and velvety texture.
  • NO scent.
  • Travel friendly.
  • Perfect for all year round.
  • Should give a little coverage.
Price: PKR 1250.
Available at all leading Supermarkets, Just4girls and BeautyArena.

What is your favorite powder for Spring/Summer? How do you keep your face matte?

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.
