Smudge Proof Pencil liners anyone? [Review+Swatch+Comparing]

Talking about makeup products, you're always on a hunt for a PERFECT product that will work for you. Quality, color, price, how it suits you - are some of the main questions while buying one product. Every product works differently for every person. What might suit others, might or might not suit you.

I have tried a couple of eye pencils from different brands. I have oily lids, and it is really hard to find something that doesn't smudge and lasts long. Here are some of them, that I used, that I didn't like and the ones I LOVED. I will start with brief review; starting from the one I like the least.

Smudge Proof eye pencils - Comparison

Becute eye pencil:
Looking at the price of it, I wasn't expecting a lot from it. The texture of the pencil is gritty. It is a bit hard to apply and does not last long.
*Smudges.
*Gritty in texture.
*Good for lower lash line.
Available at Naheed Supermarket.
Price: PKR 35.

Christine eye pencil:
The texture is smooth, and it glides on very smoothly but it smudges and wear off easily. Looking at the price of it, I wasn't expecting it to stay even this long; it stays put for good 1 to 2 hours.
*Smudges.
*Smooth texture.
*Good for lower lash line.
Available at Naheed Supermarket.
Price: PKR 40.

Luscious eye pencil:

Luscious eye pencil is creamy and smooth, but it smudges. It's a total fail for my oily lids. Good enough for waterline, but not good enough to use as a liner for upper lash line; especially for the oily lids. Didn't work for me. I love the texture and the pigmentation, but it wears off pretty quickly compared to other pencils.
*Good to use as a kohl for waterline.
*Smudges.
*Smooth and creamy texture.
Available at Naheed Supermarket and on Luscious website.
Price: PKR 225.

AVON eye pencil:
It is creamy, and glides on very easily. Lasts longer in water line but, not for lining upper lash line. It smudges and wears off after 30 mins. Not something I would recommend, plus it is not available here. I got it from the USA.
*Smudges.
*Smooth and creamy in texture.
*Can be used for lower lash line.

Diana of London:
This is my FIRST pencil I ever owned, to use in my water line. You can tell that from the size of it. I stopped using it since I bought DMGM eye pencil. I would say it works just like DMGM eye pencil, so I will keep both of them on the same level. It is creamy, soft and glides on easily. Stays put in my waterline for a decent amount of time. The thing I don't like about this pencil is, it is not blackest black, as you can see down in the picture compared to other pencils. I have to work with it back and forth to get a nice black color.
I don't remember the price of it, but it is somewhere around PKR 400 to 500.
*Smudges after couple of hours.
*Good for lining waterline.
*Smooth texture.
*Not blackest black.
Available at Naheed Supermarket.

DMGM Eye Pencil:
After raved reviews by many people, I HAD to pick this one up. I always heard and read good reviews about it; which made me buy it. Not to forget, the packaging makes it different from other pencils. I love the packaging, it reminds me of Urban Decay pencil liners. What I don't like about this pencil is, it doesn't give the true color on the first swipe. You have to rub back and forth to get a nice deep black color in the water line. I am a kind of person who LOVE dark kohl eyes. That is the only issue I have with this pencil, apart from that I love it.
*Does not smudge.
*Smooth and creamy in texture.
*blackest black.
*Good for lining both upper and lower lash line, as well as waterline.
*Long lasting.
Available at Naheed Supermarket.
Price: PKR 570.

Miss & Mrs eye pencil:
Now this one needs a detailed review! I came across this brand at a local cosmetic shop. I fell in love with it the moment I swatched it at the store, I fell in love with it more when I rubbed the swatch on my hand - it didn't smudge or became light. YAY to all the oily lids, now you have an affordable eye pencil that doesn't smudge, is waterproof, is creamy and stays put until you wash it off.

It is creamy, soft and smooth; glides on smoothly and effortlessly. It is opaque and intense on the first swipe, you don't need to go back and forth to get a nice opaque color, especially in the waterline. Waterline is a sensitive area, for that you need something which you don't need to rub. It is hard to find something like this, that too for affordable price. I picked two colors; black and green. I bought mine from a local cosmetic shop for PKR 390. It is available at Naheed Supermarket as well.
*Smooth and creamy texture.
*Does not smudge.
*Long lasting, until you wash it off.
*Opaque on the first swipe.
*Great for upper and lower lash line, as well as waterline.
*Affordable.
Price: PKR 290.

Swatches
After rubbing the swatches
Two minutes after applying the liner, I rubbed all of them to see which one wears off and smudges. As you can see each one of them smudged and rubbed off, except DMGM and Miss & Mrs swatches. On the second try, DMGM pencil became a little light, didn't smudge but Miss & Mrs ones stayed true to color.

In all, I am in LOVE with this brand and these pencils. I am definitely going to pick some more colors. I believe they have very limited colors. Totally recommend this pencil, especially all the girls with oily lids who face the same issue of smudging.

Which one is your FAVORITE pencil of all time, that doesn't smudge and lasts long? Have you tried any one of these?

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

Glamourous Face 48+48 Eye shadow Palette [Review]

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
I am in love with this palette. It has all you need. I was looking for so many colours which I found in it. I am really excited to have this palette, and it is my first ever BIG palette. Colours like carbon black, warm browns, pinks, greens are the ones I love the mos…
