Garnier Skin Naturals - Light Oil Control Fairness Cream [Review]

Everyone with combination to oily skin, looks for a cream that can keep the face matte for a couple of hours; especially in this hot weather. Garnier Skin Naturals Light Oil Control claims 8 hours shine free look and much more; read more to see how it works and does it do what it claims.
Garnier Skin Naturals - Light Oil Control

Garnier Skin Naturals - Light Oil Control:
The product represents another option for skin care within Garnier, specifically helpful to those who can benefit from oil control – it is being launched in follow up to the acclaimed Garnier Light SPF 15 cream introduced last year, to ensure those looking for good skin care options, have two solid ones.

Garnier Skin Naturals Light Oil Control gives the skin shine free fairness through its oil trapping technology, coupled with the lightening efficacy of natural lemon essence. Garnier SN Light Oil Control ensures that skin remains shine free for as long as up to 8 hours and can be used through all seasons. Regular use of Garnier SN light Oil Control also lightens the skin tone and fades out acne marks. Like all Garnier Light Skin Naturals Products,  Skin Naturals Light Oil Control has been dermatologically tested for tolerance and efficacy of the product is proven. The cream will be available in two tubes of 20 ml and 40 ml sizes.

It claims:
  • Lightens skin tone.
  • Fades out acne marks.
  • Reduces excess oils.
  • 8 hours shine free look.

My experience:
Honestly, Garnier creams never work for me. They are either too heavy for my skin or too oily. They usually break me out, that is why I avoid using Garnier creams. I was hesitant to try out this NEW cream, which claims 8 hours shine free look and visibly lightens acne marks. 8 hours shine free look? Isn't it interesting? It is the main reason, which pushed me to try it out. I have combination to oily face, and my face turns oily after 2 hours of washing my face. Also, I have acne marks.

Garnier Skin Naturals Light Oil Control Fairness cream, does give you a shine free look, for a couple of hours. I have been using it for a week, and I must say, I am impressed with the oil control formula. I apply it in the morning after washing my face and my face stays matte up to 5 to 6 hours, and then starts getting oily. Doesn't stay shine free for 8 hours; 6 hours is also good enough for my skin which turns oily after 2 hours.

About lightening acne marks, I am sure it will take time. No creams have ever worked SO fast and reduces acne marks. So does it goes for fairness. In a week no acne marks disappear, neither you can turn fair. You have to use this cream for a long time, for the acne marks.

The texture of the cream is not greasy or sticky. It is a thick cream, which absorbs into the skin very easily. Unlike some fairness creams, it doesn't make you look WHITE, after application. It absorbs and instantly makes your face look matte and soft. It has a fresh lemon and floral scent; the smell lingers and gives you a fresh feel.

Did I like it?
Yes, I like it because it keeps my face shine free. Sad part is, it broke me out too.  Now I know, any product with lemon extracts break me out.

Will I recommend?
Yes, if you have oily skin and want something that can make you look matte for at least 4 to 6 hours and, lemon extracts don't break you out.

Price of 40 ml tube is PKR 199.

It will launch on 11th June, 2012 and will be available nationwide.

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

I went to Naheed Supermarket and found this little jar. I had alot of time that day to go through something for my haircare. I picked up a jar from Boots, which was more like a conditioner to me. But, when I saw this, I picked up this and read about it. I thought of giving it a try. This one is for Dry or Permed Hair. And it is in flavor HONEY.

It says : Enjoy a salon treatment for your hair at home!
