NARS Blush "Deep Throat" [Review+Swatch]

Who doesn't love blushes? If I am given an option to select only one makeup product, I will choose blushes. The one thing without which I can never go out. Recently, one royal blush became a part of my blush family. Yes, it is none other than NARS "Deep Throat".

NARS Blush - Deep Throat

The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry's most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.

My Experience:
I never thought of buying a NARS product; they were quite expensive and not reachable for us in Pakistan. Luckily, I got my hands on this blush when Sarah Ali of Glossicious Beauty blog was selling it. I was more than excited and very happy to have this blush in my collection. It's like a royal member in the blush family.

No wonder, why there is a difference between a high end product and a drug store product. Not only the quality of the product, but the quality of the packaging is different. It comes in a double packed black carton box. The casing of the blush has a luxurious velvety finish; not like an ordinary plastic casing. When you will hold it for the first time, you will actually understand why you are paying SO much for it.

'Deep Throat' is a pretty light pink color, with gold reflex in it. When applied, it is more towards peachy pink. At first, it seems like it has shimmer in it; when you will swatch or apply it, you will notice gorgeous gold reflex and the way it glows. I am happy it is not shimmery, as I am not a BIG fan of shimmery blushes. It looks very flattering, when it gives a perfect peachy pink glow to your face.

The texture is soft, silky and smooth; not powdery at all. It is easy to build it up and blendable. It stays put for 3 to 4 hours; you will notice it fading after that; however, you can always retouch it.

I always heard girls talking about the pigmentation of NARS blushes. To be honest, MAC blushes are much pigmented then NARS blushes. May be it is this color 'Deep Throat', which doesn't show up or may be it is the formula itself. light pink shades hardly show up on Asian skin tones and it is made for fair/ white skin. The color pay off, of this shade is very sheer, and you need to build it up in order to get nice color, though the brush picks up a lot of product on the first swipe, when applied it is very sheer. I had to layer it up a lot for the swatch. I personally love those blushes which on the first swipe give a decent amount of color. It is perfect for those times, when you just need a little pop of color on your cheeks.

IF you are very fair, you don't like bold color on the cheeks, you just need a little pop of color, you love pink shades- this blush is for YOU!

IF you are a person who loves pigmented blushes, you don't want to work too hard building up the color, you love dark color blushes, you are not a fan of light pink color - this blush is not for YOU! Instead go for a darker color by NARS.

All in all, I am still liking this blush and for me it is a royal blush in my collection, till I get a MAC blush.

Net weight is 4.8g. It costs $28.00. For more shades, check NARS website. You can find it on for PKR 3,950

Do you own any NARS blush? Which shade? Do you like it?

Review - Christine's Face Contouring.

Hello pretty girls!

Today, finally I am going to review about Christine Face Contouring powder. You girls have been requesting it for so long, but I wanted to try it and go out for hours, so that I can actually talk about it.
Let's get started!
This is the packaging of the contouring powder. It is available at Naheed Supermarket for Rs.250/
It will be easily available at any cosmetic's store, because it it not a high-end brand.
This is how it looks like, it comes in different shades. At the back of the box, the sticker is of no.2, and at the back of the casing as you can see, it's no.1 :) Check the shade you want. I picked another one which had too dark brown shades. This one was the lightest. You can use this as a bronzer as well. I hardly use bronze because I look dark. But, for some reason, I am obsessed with bronzers these days and I want to try them from different brands. This is the first one I have and I kind of like it, as it is not too dark for me.

About the product:

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
