Lioele - Dollish Lipstick #08 Maple Brown [Review + Swatch]

From the past couple of months, I am more into lipsticks then lip glosses. The only lipstick I had earlier was NUDE color lipstick, because I was scared of wearing colors. With glosses I was fine but, that too pink shades and nude shades. As I started experimenting with colored lipsticks, now I don't look at glosses that much, not even my favorite nude lipstick. I enjoy collecting different colors from different brands. If I like one brand, I don't like sticking to it, instead I like to try other brands.

Lioele Dollish Lipstick - Maple Brown #08, is one of my favorite lipsticks. And, if I was doing FAVORITES of the month, it would have been in my December and January favorites.

  • Long Lasting textures and rich hues - It complements any skin tone, leaving your lips healthy and supple.
  • Natural color - The deep color gives romantic, modern impression.
  • Moisturizing - These lipsticks contain a unique blend of emollients designed to retain moisture in your lips.
Price : $18.15
My Experience:
I was asked to select the color of the lipstick I would like to receive; I chose Maple Brown, because winter was around the corner and I wanted a 'fall-ish' subtle brown color, not too dark. When I first opened it, the thing that caught my eyes was the packaging. As you can see, it has a pretty metallic PINK ring inside the cap, around the tube and, the box is also shiny pink. Anything PINK is my favorite. The packaging of the lipstick is decent and chic! The color in the tube is no where near shade of BROWN, even when you apply it for the first time on the lips, it is more towards plum-brown. I personally like plum colors and it was winter, so it was the perfect shade. As it settles down, you can see a little hint of brown in it. The name is 'Maple Brown' but, it has plum undertones to it.
To be honest, when I first swatch, I was not excited or happy about the color. But, when I started to wear it to try and experience for the review, I started to like the color. It was my go-to lipstick in the month of December. This lipstick with a light pink flushed cheeks, was the perfect combo for the chilly month of December.
In the swatch on the hand, it looks like it has pinkish red undertones, like a maple leaf; on the lips it looks more towards nude brown with plum undertones.
The lipstick is creamy and moisturizing and, glides on very easily. It is a sheen and a full coverage lipstick; a perfect medium tone color. I like the formula of the lipstick, it is not too soft to break it or melt. It comes in 10 gorgeous colors.
What I don't like about this lipstick is the taste of it. It has a slight taste like a soap (don't know how to describe it), but not too strong and disappears after a few minutes. If you have a NYX round lipstick, you will understand what I am talking about. I didn't like the NYX round lipsticks just because of the taste, but they have too strong taste; if you like those lipsticks, then the taste of this lipstick will not bother you at all. I prefer a lipstick with either sweet smell and taste or NO taste.
It is a nice lipstick, but for the price of it, many girls will not like it. But, if you don't have issues with the price, definitely check this out.

-Lasting power.
-Full coverage.
-Smooth, creamy and moisturizing.
-Does not melt.
-Does not feathers outside the lips.

Glamourous Face 48+48 Eye shadow Palette [Review]

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
I am in love with this palette. It has all you need. I was looking for so many colours which I found in it. I am really excited to have this palette, and it is my first ever BIG palette. Colours like carbon black, warm browns, pinks, greens are the ones I love the mos…

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
