Makeup Tips for Asian Women. [Guest Post - Aleya Bamdad]

Asian women are known for having beautiful porcelain skin and shiny black hair. However, some Asian women find it difficult find the right colors of makeup to make them look like the glamour queens that they are. If you’re one of these ladies, you’ll find these tips helpful.

Foundation and Concealer- Most Asian women have a yellow undertone to their skin and so in order to get the most natural look to their makeup it’s best to apply a foundation that has a yellow tone as well. Many Asian women feel that a yellow based makeup will make their skin appear to be more yellow but this is not the case at all.
If you do a comparison test between a yellow and a pink toned foundation and concealers you’ll be able to see the difference for yourself.

Bronzer- Use a bronzer to highlight your best features so that there is less of a focus on your not so perfect features. What you basically want to do is to brush a touch of bronzer on the center of your forehead down your nose and over your chin and then brush some onto your cheekbones. This technique will make your T zone stand out in a more flattering way so that you can look more refreshed.

Eye Shadow- Since you have brown eyes and black hair it’s safe to say that most eye shadow colors will look beautiful on you. So go ahead and play in the shadow section of your favorite department store until you find a selection of colors that you like for day and some that you like to blend for an evening look.

Blush- Apply a warm shade of apricot to help accent your cheeks. This will give your face a nice glow.

Brow Pencil- Most Asians find that their eye brows are sparse. To make them appear fuller use a brow pencil to fill in the areas that need improvement. For best results apply a little at a time.

Lipstick- Bright red, berry colors and nude colored lipsticks will look amazing with your coloring and will work to make your lips appear to be bigger and fuller. If you want to make your lips stand out even more try using a gloss rather than a lipstick

We hope that these tips help you look your best. Good luck.

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. [Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.
