Review + Swatch - Sleek True Color Lipstick [Papaya Punch 782]

Yes! I am obsessed and addicted to lipsticks. Earlier, I had only some; because NUDE color was the only color I picked up while going out. But now, I like to play with colors. I mix and match a lot of colors, to get a color I want and I don't have. As you know, now a day it is a Bold Lip color trend - RED color was always my favorite, but I was always scared of wearing it. Now, I love all the bold colors. Fuchsia is one color, which I need in my collection now.

I love collecting lipsticks; and more than that from different brands, so that I can know the difference and also I can experience every brand. This time I picked Sleek True Color Lipstick.

My Experience:
Sleek True Color Lipstick comes in 20 different shades. I have looked for good Coral color for long but couldn't find one until I found Papaya Punch. Papaya Punch is a pretty coral, mixed with peach and papaya. If that makes sense (you can see the swatch below). It is a matte shade. I personally like matte and satin/creme finish lipsticks.

Since it is a matte lipstick, it stays longer. It stays put for a good 3-4 hours.

The application and texture of the lipstick are a con for me. It is pigmented and you can see the result on the first swipe, but you will notice streaks and crease after applying on the lips. I tried in many ways, exfoliated my lips, applied lip balm but it never satisfied me.
I use a nude gloss just to fix the crease on the lips. Though the lipstick itself is not dry or too matte.

The lipstick comes in a small tiny black packaging, with a velvety touch. When I first saw the lipstick, I was quite shocked to see the size of it. It is tiny and cute.

  • Beautiful and wide range of shades available.
  • Staying power.
  • Gives natural effect to your lips after sometime.
  • Pigmented.
  • Tiny.
  • Pricey.
  • Streaky application.
I am happy still with this lipstick, just because of the color I picked. I like the color and the staying power. I moisturize my lips with lip balm, dab the lipstick and use a gloss of sleek nude pout polish over it. I love the color of the lipstick. But I think, I will not buy any other shade from the same brand.

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
I am in love with this palette. It has all you need. I was looking for so many colours which I found in it. I am really excited to have this palette, and it is my first ever BIG palette. Colours like carbon black, warm browns, pinks, greens are the ones I love the mos…

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.
