Review + Swatches - Luscious Cosmetics Foundation Stick [New Release]

Recently Luscious Cosmetics launched a new product - Foundation Stick. Many people prefer a stick foundation, for full coverage and a matte finish. Does it do what one expects from a stick foundation?

Luscious Cosmetics:
A revolutionary Brightening Cream Foundation infused with Licorice extract for a visibly fairer complexion, this ultra-smooth and lightweight formula provides a soft matte finish.
Designed for easy application and adjustable coverage, the creamy formula effortlessly glides across your skin for a long lasting, radiant result. Makes your skin feel pampered and velvety while covering dark areas and blemishes for a perfect skin tone.
Dermatologist Tested
Suitable for all skin types, except extremely oily skin

My views:
I have used and I still use both foundations by Luscious Cosmetics. And, I like this foundation stick better than both of them. But, they cannot be compared as all of the three have different coverage. It doesn't cover all the imperfections, for that you need a concealer - of course! It is not heavy at all. It does not clog your pores; neither makes your skin feel heavy. It is light-weight, creamy and blends in very smoothly and easily. It is so creamy, that I can easily buff this foundation with my F80 brush.

This foundation does not leave my T-zone oily at all. I have always experienced oily T-zone after 2 to 3 hours of foundation application. But, I didn't face it with this foundation stick. This foundation stick is not at all like any other sticks, not too dry, not too oily. I love the texture as well as the output of it. I was happy that I had no shiny-oily face or my T-zone for good 3 to 4 hours and more. I used Luscious Compact powder on top, but I use that on other foundations as well. I love the fact that it didn't make me oily at the end of the day.

Price : PKR 850.
9g/0.3 Oz

This foundation stick comes in 5 different shades.
  • 0 Ivory.
  • 1 Cream Ivory.
  • 1.5 Natural Beige.
  • 2 Medium Beige.
  • 2.5 Golden Beige.
I used the shade Sand in both liquid foundations by Luscious, if you use Sand, 1.5 Natural Beige is the perfect color for you. First I thought it would be too light for me, as I don't like a tone lighter than my skin tone. I prefer a darker tone. I hate to look WHITE! But when I applied it on my face, it was a perfect match. The foundation absorbed in with my skin color, making it look natural and flawless.
This is all you get in this stick.
I totally agree with what Luscious Cosmetics says, this foundation has lasting power. Apply dots on the face and blend it with sponge or fingers. I personally like to blend it with fingers. Dust face powder and you are done with a nice medium coverage.
I love the packaging too. It's sleek, compact and classy!

After - Blended
I personally liked this foundation. I will definitely recommend this foundation, special recommendation for the starters, instead of buying any liquid foundation or any other foundation, buy this. It will help you with your first use, as it is very easy to apply. Also for all the office going and working ladies. This is perfect for you! The best thing is, it is very handy and you can carry around with you in the small pouch.
Left (with the foundation) - Right (with no foundation)
Before and After: You can see the visible difference after using the foundation, you can see that it covers some imperfections, though it's the other side of the face. It also brightens the face. (Ignore my red marks). I also used it on my dark circles, and used a little bit of Luscious brightening concealer too.

  • Easy to blend.
  • Creamy.
  • Stays on for long.
  • Gives flawless finish.
  • The product is less.
  • Shades are limited.
Overall, I really liked it and I would love to use it, especially in the summers when I get really oily T-zone.
If you want to buy, you can buy this online from their website HERE
It is also available at all the leading supermarkets and cosmetic shops in Pakistan.

A disclaimer: This was sent to me, but I used the product and gave my honest opinion on it.

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

[Review] Krylon TV Paint Stick - Orange

Makeup not only enhances your features, but also hides your flaws too!
Hiding my dark circles and finding the RIGHT concealer for the under eye circles has always been a BIG task for me. I have tried quite a few concealers, from different brands; none of them matched or could hide my dark circles properly. Until I came across orange corrector by Krylon.
