Skincare Routine

Hello beautiful ladies,

Today I will be reviewing about my skincare routine,  and how you can take care of your skin on daily basis.

Taking care of your skin is the most important part of our daily life. One should drink lots of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, to take care of  your skin. But, you also need to take care of your skin externally.

There's tried-and-true ways to properly take care of your skin, from the right way to cleanse your face, to the best moisturizers and sunscreens.

Before we start with the proper daily skincare routine, you'll need to know your skin type. How you care for your skin is utterly dependent on the type of skin you have : oily, normal/combination, dry, sensitive or sun-damaged.

The products I use for my skincare routine is for my skin type which is combination to oily. It doesn't mean you have to buy the same products I am using. The cleanser and toner is for every  skin type, but, the facewash and the moisturizer is different for every skin type.

My skincare routine includes these following things :

The 4 basic skincare regimen includes :

1. Cleansing.
2. Exfoliate.
3. Toner.
4. Moisturizer.

Products used :

1. Pond's cleansing milk.
2. Pond's toner.
3. Pond's Flawless white facewash.
4. L'OREAL Hydrafresh Aqua gel.
5. Cool n cool cleansing cotton pads.
6. Sandal water.

Step 1 Cleansing : Be sure not to cleanse too often. Once in 2-3 days or at nights should do you. Apply cream, spray rose water or sandal water and cleanse your face for 4 to 5 minutes. Wipe-off with a cotton pad. Cleansing helps to loosen the dirt on your skin.
I use POND's cleansing milk, which is available at any store or super market. And, it is just for Rs 140.

Step 2 Exfoliation : Exfoliation is the step most people skip in their skincare routine. But trust me, if you start exfoliating your skin properly, you will notice an immediate difference. There are several ways to exfoliate your skin. Use scrubs, a facewash with scrub particles in it or any peels. I prefer using a facewash which has particles in it which exfoliates my skin as well as deeply clease my skin.

POND's say: This deep whitening facial foam is enriched with new VAO-B3 complex, this foaming cleanser washes away the dirt, oil and impurities that causes dullness, revealing bright, sparkling clean skin underneath.

My views: It does what is says. It cleanses my skin deeply.
It is available at any store or super-market for Rs 450.

Always wash your face for a minute for deep cleansing. No matter what facewash you use, cleanse your forehead and chin for 20 seconds, your cheeks for 10 seconds and the rest T-zone area. This way it deep cleanse and make your skin fresh. You can feel your skin soft and smooth. Less than a minute will not clean all the  impurites and the dirt. Avoid soaps as they tend to dry out your skin.

Step 3 Toner : Toners are meant to remove all the remaining traces of oil, makeup and dirt.  I firmly believe it is upto you. I use it on my daily basis. If you like the way your skin feels with a toner, buy it and use it.

It is available at any store or supermarket for Rs 140.

Step 4 Moisturize :
No matter what your skin type is, it needs a moisturizer. Moisturizer seal moisture into skin. Be careful not to over moisturize your skin, this can clog your pores.

My skin is a combination to oily, that is why I use L'OREAL Hydrafresh Aqua gel for combination to oily skin. It's a daily moisturizer. I will do a review on it seperately. It is of Rs 550 and it is available at any super-market. Remember that always buy it from a L'OREAL counter.

This was my skincare routine. You have to decide what your skin type is and which facewash or moisturizer will work for your skin type. Cleanser and toner is for every skin type, which I am using. Again, do not use the cleanser every day. Use it once in 2-3 days. You can also use a good scrub once in a week( I will do a review about it too soon ).

I hope this was helpful for you girls. These products are easily available at any supermarket. I  bought it from Naheed Supermarket, as I usually buy my things from this supermarket.
Any questions you have regarding skincare, or any comments, please feel free to write. :)
Till then.
Stay Beautiful :)

L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Caramel Mania - Toffee Delice [Review]

I'm a person who loves experimenting things with my makeup and hair. When it comes to changing the color, I can try the bold colors to subtle ones. Lately, I've been obsessed with Ombre and full brown hair color. I prefer hair dying my hair at home and that's why I love and prefer shampoo dyes. If you are new, and you are changing hair color at home, it's the easiest way. All you have to do is mix all the contents in a bottle, shake well and start applying. Yes, easy as it sounds.

The wedding season is on, some of you might be looking for good products to buy for yourself for your own wedding or for yourself to get ready for someone else's wedding. It is really hard to find good quality eyeshadows with affordable price. All this year I kept looking for a good eye shadow palette, but was unable to find one. I ended up buying single eye shadows.

Finally, I came to know about this palette through a blogger [Sara Hassan] who did a review about it on her blog. Seriously, after reading the reviews I was so excited to buy it. Thanks to her for sharing. I wouldn't have bought it if I would have seen it before the review.

So, without wasting the time, let me introduce you to my favourite palette :)
